The scene reflects a Japanese pond viewed from above, combining swirling ripples on the surface, Koi carp, water lilies and flowers. The textile silk look surface oozes elegance, refinement and painterly drama. We have covered the outer in a coral red Phoenix faux silk, from James Hare, which chimes with the red in the fins of the Koi carp in the pond interior. When lit there is a delicate faint ghost of the interior pattern is visible through the outer. A piece to add an artistic oriental statement and enliven a Japandi style interior.
